Playground is situated within the college campus. Facilities are available to play volleyball, cricket, football, carom, chess, kho-kho, throw ball and athletics, with a view of developing a sense of team spirit and to encourage a spirit of healthy environment. Opportunity is provided to all students for practice and participation in various sport events in accordance to their interest.
The College has separate sports room having all types of sports material for indoor & outdoor games. College has also appointed a Physical Education Lecturer.
One of the significant aims of the sports is to instil among the students the cherished values of courage and dash, optimism and hope, action and enthusiasm, leadership and group work and there is no better medium than sports to inculcate these values in students and to prepare them-mentally and physically healthy for the challenges ahead in life. Sports and physical activities are integral part of our curriculum. Sports calendar encompasses all major sporting events, games and athletics which include individual as well as team events like: Volley ball, Badminton, Chess, Carom Board, Kabaddi ,Athletics etc.
Inter House/ section level sports and other matches are organized by the institute also students are send to participate in inter College/University events, and not to forget is the Annual Sports meet of VSLM.

VSLM college of education provides separate hostel facility for boys and girls (within the campus) amidst and environment that stimulate learning and provides ample scope for recreation. Allotment of accommodation will be made on first come first serve basis.
